    Janet Kasoff EdD, RN


    Senior Director Care Management Learning & Innovation, Montefiore

    Janet Kasoff EdD, RN is a nurse leader with expertise and progressive leadership experience in nursing administration, practice, informatics, education, quality, and project management. She has an EdD from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Post Masters Certificate in Nursing Informatics and a Masters in Nursing Education from New York University.

    She is certified in nursing administration advanced, medical-surgical nursing, nursing informatics, healthcare quality and health information systems. In her present role, she is the Senior Director for Care Management Learning and Innovation at Montefiore Health System Care Management Organization and leads the education component of the Montefiore’s Workforce Organization. Her success in WIO ensured that over 30,000 were educated.

    Janet has presented at AONE, NYONEL, ANPD and CMSA. She was awarded the research award at CMSA annual conference for IRB research study on Care Transitions, best poster award at ANPD for Care Management Curriculum Design and outstanding preceptor award at NYU. She will be presenting at CMSA this June for the Development of a Concept Mapping Framework for Care Management Curriculum. She has publications on various nursing administrative and informatics topics in the Journal of nursing administration and has written a book based on her doctoral research. Most recently she co-authored a book chapter on Patient Safety and Care Transitions, awaiting publication.
